All that’s deceptively fragile and wonderful continues percolating across the pond as post-rock’s reigning Scottish quintet offers its newest set of scorching barn-burners and more textured melancholia.

While the carefully interwoven but borderline-apocalyptic guitars of “Glasgow Mega-Snake” boil the blood, the more sedate, piano-laced offerings steal the spotlight, calling to mind contemporaries like The For Carnation, Do Make Say Think, and Sigur Ros.

Favorite track: “Auto Rock”

Grade: B+
